Defense Health Agency Awards $1.4B Contract to Transform Health Care — Edera L3C Selected
Published on March 28, 2022Edera L3C, which operates the National Coordination Center (NCC), has been awarded a prime contract by Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the Program Executive Office Defense Healthcare Management Systems’ (PEO DHMS’) $1.4B Workforce 3.0 contract.

Workforce 3.0 is designed to deliver world-class care by transforming DHA with innovative processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies. PEO DHMS’ vision is to bring cutting-edge technology, enhanced patient and employee experience, continuous improvement, and accelerated health care information technology (IT) improvements to support DHA’s workforce of nearly 140,000 — and the nearly 9.6 million worldwide beneficiaries of the health care system.

Workforce 3.0 is a five-year program, estimated to be complete in January 2028.
